The Adventure Alternative Kenya team

Our team of local staff are here to make your trip the best possible one. They all have extensive knowledge of organising and guiding outdoor trips in East Africa. Through regular training and first aid courses, we ensure that your trip is safe and successful.

Because of our close partnership with Moving Mountains Kenya, a number of our staff are also involved in the work of the charity. This gives a holistic experience for anyone looking to visit or volunteer at the community projects we support.

Gilbert is a Director and co-founder of the company and has an active role in the management and the adventure holidays, safaris and climbs that we run.

Gilbert is also the chairman of our sister charity Moving Mountains Kenya. He manages and monitors the development projects in Embu county which include educational and vocational support programmes.
